Rygor Recognises Exceptional Talent and Milestones
at Its Group Awards and Long Service Event
Rygor Group has proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements and long-term commitment of its team, bringing colleagues together for two of the company’s most meaningful annual team events. The first celebration took place at the Home Grown Hotel in London, where the business held its annual Group Awards on the evening of 29 January. This special evening recognised Rygor team members who had beennominated by their peers for demonstrating excellence across the organisation. Awards were presented in categories including technical excellence, leadership excellence, the One and Only award, the Changemaker award, and customer service excellence, each honouring those who have gone above and beyond in their roles and contributed to Rygor’s continued success.
Reflecting on the event, Managing Director John Keogh said that this occasion remains one of his favourite moments of the year, as it provides the chance to celebrate the exceptional work, dedication and team spirit demonstrated every day across the business. “Hearing the stories behind each nomination is a powerful reminder of the talent and commitment that underpin Rygor’s culture as well as the support and recognition that our team members show for each other.”
The celebrations continued the following week at Pennyhill Park hotel in Surrey, where Rygor hosted its annual Long Service Lunch. This event recognised team members who had reached significant service milestones, with this year’s honourees marking 10, 15, 20 and an impressive 25 years with the company. The Long Service Lunch is a cherished tradition within the Rygor Group that highlights the loyalty and dedication of colleagues who have chosen to build their careers with Rygor.
Commercial Director Rish Channa said: “I am so proud to see so many team members who have dedicated such substantial parts of their lives to the business; it is both humbling and inspiring to witness the depth of commitment within the team and I am delighted that the culture we have built at Rygor and the brilliant colleagues we have within the Groups, supports our team members’ desire to stay with the company for so long.”
Lisa Powell, Rygor’s payroll manager and winner of the ‘One and Only’ award, said: “I feel very honoured to receive the award and share the awards evening with some PRESS RELEASE 3 incredible members of the team. I am proud to be part of a team that continually demonstrates dedication, excellence and genuine support for one another.”
Together, the Group Awards and the Long Service Lunch represent Rygor’s deep appreciation for its people. These events not only celebrate exceptional performance and transformative contributions but also honour the longevity and loyalty that continue to shape the Rygor business. The company remains committed to recognising and supporting its team, and the success of these events reflects the strong community and shared values of being Rewarding, Reliable and Respectful, at the heart of the organisation.
