Rygor Land Systems:
Carbon Reduction Plan 2024
Commitment to achieving Net Zero
Rygor Group Ltd. which includes Rygor Land Systems is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Emissions reduction targets
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 1600 tCO2e by 2029. This is a reduction of approximately 20%.
Carbon Reduction Projects
The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented since 2023. The carbon emission reduction achieved by these schemes will be measured following 12 full months of implementation to gain robust data and measurement.
- Rygor Group’s Westbury headquarters achieved ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems standard in August 2024
- LED lighting implemented in workshops across the Group.
- Electric vans implemented for some parts delivery vehicles and mobile and 24hr roadside attendance vehicles.
- A programme of implementation of vehicle trackers in company vehicles to be able to monitor routes to ensue most efficient journeys taken.
- More staff moving into eVans as company vehicles.
- All Board members in electric cars for work purposes.
- Staff are encouraged to recycle as much as possible and have recycling boxes or bins at all our sites.
- Invested in electric vehicle chargers at all sites.
- We have partnered with Green the UK and have invested in planting wildflower in urban areas near our sites, top not only enhanced the visual aesthetic of the local area, but to encourge more wildlife locally and oxygen in the air.
- Confidential waste which goes into our shredding boxes is recycled by our supplier.
- We are increasingly using more and more digital technologies which allow our team to use less paper including digital invoicing and job cards.
- Cycle2Work scheme for staff.
- Teams/online meetings implemented to reduce unnecessary travel for in person meetings.
- Donate unwanted IT equipment, office furniture etc. to colleges and charities, reducing waste to landfill.
- eVan press activity to raise awareness of the opportunities of electric vehicles.
- Centralising stationery orders to reduce unnecessary ordering.
In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:
- Electric car scheme for staff
- Solar panels
- Sending wildflower seeds out to all staff to encourage them to plant in their gardens.
- More eVehicle press activity
