Rygor Roadshows Kick Off Bringing Team Rygor Together
Rygor Group has launched a programme of internal Roadshows, with members of the Board and Senior Leadership Team holding sessions with teams across the company’s 20 locations over the coming weeks. The events bring together more than 600 team members to celebrate Rygor’s heritage, share plans for the future, and continue the strong connections that have always been at the heart of the business.
John Keogh, Rygor managing director, said: “At Rygor, our team members have always been our greatest strength. Whilst we have adapted over the years, one thing has never changed: the importance of knowing our people, understanding their challenges, celebrating their successes and ensuring they feel part of something bigger.
“These Roadshows are about continuing the relationships and conversations that already exist across our business, whilst creating opportunities for even more team members to hear directly from our leadership team, ask questions, share ideas and understand the exciting future ahead of us.
“As we celebrate 58 years since Rygor was incorporated, it is important to recognise how far we have come. From our beginnings as a haulage company to the business we are today, our success has always been built on the dedication, expertise and commitment of our people. The Roadshows are a chance to celebrate that journey together whilst looking ahead to the opportunities still to come,” Keogh added.
Throughout the sessions, team members will explore Rygor’s history, learn more about the company’s strategy and future ambitions, and celebrate the achievements that have helped shape the business over the past six decades. As Rygor continues to evolve, the Roadshows reinforce the company’s commitment to maintaining a connected, people-focused culture where every team member understands the important role they play in its continued success.
Sharon Geeves, administrator at Rygor Group, who attended the first Rygor Roadshow, said: “I really enjoyed the well organised, Rygor Roadshow. It was great to catch up with colleagues from other sites. Engaging with the leadership team was very interesting, they explained the company’s history as well as the direction in which it is heading. The goodie bag and pizza were a surprise bonus!”
Kate Ruberry-Shoemack, director of people and communication at Rygor, said: “The Roadshow feedback to date has been overwhelmingly positive, with team members rating their pride in being part of Team Rygor at an average of 95 out of 100. This exceptional result reflects the strength of our culture, the value of our focus on internal communication and employee engagement, and the success so far of the Roadshows in bringing our teams together.”
